Studio portrait of Major Frederick Phillimore Howell-Price DSO. He enlisted as a driver in 6th Company, Australian Army Service Corps attached to the 2nd Light Horse Brigade and served at

Gallipoli from September to December 1915 and also during the Romani, Beersheba, Jericho Valley and Syrian operations during 1916 and 1917. He returned to Australian in May 1919.
